I am a self-taught artist and live at beautiful Kerr Lake, NC.  Poetry greatly influences my art.
I find a subject that I want to paint, jot down the words that describe it, put on some background music to get me in the mood and then start painting. 
As I paint,  I think about the words that describe my subject, this gives me  the inspiration as my brush touches the canvas.   
I like to focus on the spectacular setting surrounding Kerr Lake, North Carolina and Vance County North Carolina, along with other places I have traveled.  
My studio is located at "Das Kunstlerin Blockhutte" (aka The Artist Log Cabin) in Vance County, NC.
